Golden Square Shopping Centre Warrington is home to 140 high street retailers. Our ongoing brief is to promote the diversity of fashion stores available at GS, from major chains to independent boutiques, ensuring all tenants benefit from our annual marketing spend.
We developed the 'GS collection', a concept that positioned Golden Square as one giant department store, rather than a fragmented shopping centre. Initially launching with a campaign of outfits and fashion flat lay photography, put together from multiple retailers, it gave customers the inspiration to put together their seasonal wardrobe from multiple stores, and over the years the campaign has evolved to promote inclusivity, featuring a diverse mix of models showcasing the latest trends.
The campaign won the CIM Northern campaign of the year, as well as being an unprecedented commercial success, with a 4.2% increase in footfall year on year, and fashion sales, excluding Primark, increasing by 11% year on year.
