Making it OK to OUI your pants at Radisson Red...

The Brief

We were tasked to create an identity for a series of nights hosted by OUI Bar at Radisson Red Glasgow, including everything from comedy acts to Indie nights to craft fairs. Brand awareness was a key factor for them, so the challenge was to take a brand name that wasn't hugely relevant to many and make it work in our favour.

The Idea

So how do you make a bar with a French name (that's not French!) relevant within the context of Glasgow? We flip it on its head, and OUI becomes WEE and WE. OUI Sessions, OUI your pants, OUI create etc. Focusing on media relevant to the target audience, we created merchandise, print and digital materials that wouldn't feel out of place amongst various gig and comedy venue creative around the city, aligning OUI Bar with these relevant destinations.
